Returns and Exchanges

I gladly accept returns & exchanges on all in stock items
(See “Restrictions” for custom or personalized orders)

If the parcel has already been shipped to the customer, a maximum refund request time of 7 days will take effect. The refund will be provided as soon as the product has been returned to HemHouse and is in our possession (assuming the product is in its original packaging and remains unworn - your honesty is appreciated!). Once the seven days has expired, your order is no longer eligible for a refund or exchange.

Please note that all shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer, not HemHouse, and only the cost of the product may be reimbursed.


Cancellations are accepted within 5 hours of placing your in stock order, and will be reimbursed in full.

We know how hard it is when circumstances change, so please give us as much notice as possible when cancelling your order. We at HemHouse pride ourselves on fast shipping, so to ensure a full and immediate reimbursement including shipping costs, the order must still be in our possession.


Due of the nature of these products, unless the product arrives damaged or defective, returns cannot be accepted for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Used items

Again, your honesty is greatly appreciated! 

Customized or personalized order: 

This is determined on a case-by-case-basis.

If a cancellation has been requested for a custom order, and the customized product has been sewn but not shipped but is unfit for placement in regular store stock for resale (ie: it's been personalized), a refund may be issued, less the cost of supplies and labour (maximum of $13.00). 


Please allow Canada Post 7-10 business days for general delivery within Canada and 7-14 days within the United States. 

(This does not include tracked packages. If you’d like, HemHouse can expedite and include tracking upon request or at check-out.)

Once your purchase has left HemHouse’s possession, we no longer have control over delivery times. If you're concerned, we'll do our very best to help navigate the situation with you. Thanks for your understanding!
